Hello, my name is Darien Spivey and I am the senior pastor here at Miracle. I have been the pastor here for the last six years. I have pastored in North Myrtle Beach SC and Fayetteville NC before coming to Augusta GA. I have been in the pastorate for a total of eighteen years.

I have two lively fifteen year old boys and a sweet eleven year old daughter. Their names are Cody, Stuart, and Meagan.

I graduated from Silver Bluff High School in Aiken SC, USC Aiken where I studied World History, and Bob Jones University with a BA in religious studies in 1992.

Now that you have checked us all out on our website come check us out in person and worship the Lord Jesus Christ here at Miracle Baptist Church. We look forward to seeing you.

John Bartlett - Pastor of Youth & Children

Hi, my name is John Bartlett and I am blessed to be the minister to youth and children here at Miracle Baptist. I have been on staff here since 2001. I have a beautiful and talented wife that I married in 1990 named Deana. I am a graduate of Hephzibah High School, Victory Baptist College, and Augusta State University. I also have four amazing children that I love dearly. There names are Brett, Bryan, Veronica, and Courtney.

The spiritual well-being of your children and teenagers is of the utmost importance to me. We, as a staff here at Miracle, try to create different ministries to reach every member of the family. My prayer is that your children will come to see their need for Jesus and place their faith in Him.

Melvin Barnes - Minister of Music

Melvin began music ministry in 1975.  Melvin served in four churches before coming to Miracle in the summer of 1996.  He has conducted Christmas concerts, 4th of July celebrations, and a musical celebration in August every year with the Miracle Choir and Friends in concert with  overflow crowds. He  has shown a gift in continuing the Southern Gospel tradition at Miracle. He and his wife Martha have two grown children,  Rebecca Barnes Bates and Jonathan.
